Summary:

Momoko Sakura also known as Maruko, a small girl at the age of nine years old. She attends her third year of school. She lives in a relatively poor family, only having her parents, grandparents and her older sister. She is a disaster, lazy, messy person and she is always late for school, plus she hates studying. She is quite the opposite of her older sister with whom Maruko shares her bedroom and always has quarrels. However she is well behaved and has many friends.

A lovely comedy about a child and her simple life.
