The story takes a hard look at the unfortunate life of Chiba Ayumu. It all begins when she was graduating from a middle school. Ayumu didn't only lose her best friend, whom she had dreamt of going to high school together, she also takes up the habit of cutting her own wrist to get away from reality. Worse still, in high school she becomes the victim of bullying and sexual harrassment. Nothing seems bright anymore for Ayumu. But just when her spirit gets really low, Hatori, a beautiful and smart classmate comes to cheer her up and encourage her to have a courage to live on. Ayumu then decides she will never give up again!
